With safety products such as extinguishers, regular maintenance is essential so reliable servicing is a priority to keep you on the right side of the law.

British Standard Code of Practice BS 5306: Part 3 recommends that your fire extinguishers are serviced at least annually to ensure that they will always function in an emergency. The range of extinguishers we supply will provide many years of reliable fire protection only if properly maintained and regularly serviced by a suitably trained person.

On-site servicing is carried out by our own engineers, each are trained to Fire Extinguishing Trades Association standards and working to British Standards.

Commissioning

 

When a fire extinguisher is purchased from a web site it will probably be delivered by courier in a van and it is therefore not possible to 'commission' it before it is sent out as it could be damaged, discharged or have lost pressure en-route.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that any equipment (such as fire extinguishers) "should be subject to a suitable system of maintenance and be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair".
